On Thursday night, both the A and B teams hosted the Lady Eagles of Joplin East and were each able to come out with a victory. In the B game, Nevada earned a strong victory by the final score of 28-14. The offensive effort in that game was led by Taylor Gundy with six points.
In the A game, Nevada showed a very similar performance as they earned another victory by the same 14-point margin, winning by a final score of 30-16. Taryn Charles led the offense for Nevada in the A game with 10 points.
Thursday's contest came on the heels of another strong performance at home against Butler in which the A team earned a 41-12 victory. Kelsey McCall led the offense on the night with six points.
Both the A and B teams are scheduled to be back in action again on Monday, Nov. 9, as they host Webb City.
