Area boys that know them, perhaps via someone who worked for them or something... Sounds planned out. How many times do you hear about masked gunmen in Vernon County???

Was it in Vernon County? The article doesn't even say where the home was located. Was this in town - off a major road, out in the boonies??? For those who don't know this family and the area they live in, it would be nice to know where we are talking about.

3 miles south of Metz on DD Hwy so basically out in the boonies. I bet anything the Scammell's have a nice house too. The gunmen also wore Gloves! It doesn' say if they got any money or stole anything. I hope they can find out who they are fast!

Sounds planned out how do you know were you involved that's how you know. I was born and raised in Metz and it is a pretty neat little town.I don't know any Metz boys that would do such a thing.Just because it is alittle town doesn't mean it is a high crime town even though it is in the BOONIES as you put it.

No, I have common sense just reading the story something you obviously "Don't" have and I said the word "boonies" in reply to bearcatprof.

Note to police: She knows Metz boys, she probably knows who did it!

Instead of getting angry at replies you need to learn proper english and grammar like using question marks!

No I don't know proper grammer because I am from Metz. Far as your note to the Police goes I should know Metz boys cause Stupid I told you I was born and raised at Metz. There wasn't any finer people then those from Metz. At least they had common sense.

-- Posted by simplenana on Thu, Nov 12, 2009, at 5:45 PM

You don't know punctuation or have common sense, you're so stupid you don't know how to spell "grammar"

If I was the police I'd be looking for you for trying to direct them away from Metz.

I also happen to know people who live there and they're not as innocent as you're trying to project. Men there in and out of jail, sex offenders, in the paper frequently for crap that goes on around there.

Of course the sherrifs office knows this already!

I have found that name calling is often a sign of low intelligence. On another note, there are more sex offenders in Nevada than all the rest of the cities in vernon county put together. What does that say about nevada? Just my thoughts. Keep seeking the truth.

Calling any other town a "city" in vernon county is a sign of low intelligence.

Your thoughts are about as worthless as the broad who called me a name.

I sought the truth and found it.

Actually I was refering to you calling the lady a name but then you aren't smart enough to figure that out I guess. Funny thing is when I lived in Dallas and LA they considered Nevada a hick town. I guess it is all a matter of prespective. Just my thoughts. Keep seeking the truth or stay in your backward inbred ways.

See how easy it is to resort to name calling? I'm not sure what where someone is from has anything to do with this story. This could have happened on north Washington St. The truth is these people were in their home and some thugs broke in. How is that ok? Just my thoughts and all I have to say. Keep seeking the truth.

Being a hipocrite is a sign of low intelligence of course some people aren't smart enough to figure that out they just steal other peoples saying's and use them as if they came up with it.

I think someone needs to go where others will think he is as important as he himself does, we here in the "boondocks" don't rightly give a dern bout yall highfalootin fancy talkers. Hmmm, what ever happened to being compassionate for our neighbors and wanting justice to prevail??

I hate to break the news to you but before you go talking about things maybe you should do some homework. Their are no sex offenders in Metz. You know how I know this? The Highway Patrol has a site to look them up. Their are no current sex offenders living in Metz sorry to break your heart. Also its not DD highway its D. Big diffrence in location between those two roads.

I hate to break it to you but sex offenders happen to move often because of their reputation 2 sex offenders lived there within the last couple of months like I said I know people that live there and you can ask any of them and if they tell you "No" than they're a liar.

So I accidently hit 1 "D" too many.

Get a fricken life and learn how to spell!

-- Posted by dandrew on Sun, Nov 15, 2009, at 10:17 PM

Hey I know they lived there. You know why? Because I live there, but they didn't live there when this crime happened. Figure it out.

-- Posted by jw0226790 on Mon, Nov 16, 2009, at 9:07 AM

I never said that I thought they commited the crime. It was a reply to simplemindnana who was trying to make it sound like a bunch of Angels live there.

You and truthseeker like to twist my words around to your own liking

Gee, 3 people seem awfully nervous about anyone thinking that a Metz person could've possibly done it, I wonder why?

Like I said before, the sherrifs office already knows who lives there and who has been in and out of trouble.

Enough said.

-- Posted by dandrew on Mon, Nov 16, 2009, at 10:34 AM

Enough said because You say so, I'm sure. Have you ever sought help for your low self-esteem issue dandrew?

-- Posted by orlahnih1 on Wed, Nov 18, 2009, at 7:52 AM

Has anybody considered the possibility that these 3 suspects aren't from around here? Maybe they were from somewhere else and on the run, taking back roads to avoid being caught on Highway 71? Maybe they were desperate for some gas money to get further away from where their last crime took place?
