David Lee Gordon

David Lee Gordon, 57, of Nevada, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, following a sudden illness. He was born on Feb. 23, 1952, in Independence, Mo., to Howard M. Gordon and Marjorie Lucille Butler Gordon. Hewas married to Tony Krebs on March 23, 1973. He later married Elaine S. Welch, on May 5, 2006, and she survives of the home.

David grew up in Kansas City, Mo., and attended East High School, in Kansas City, Mo. He worked as a truck driver for many years and also as a pressman for Clark's Printing Company, in North Kansas City for several years. David and Elaine came to Nevada in 2007.

He is survived by his wife Elaine, of the home; two daughters, Jennifer Gordon, and Jessica Gordon, both of Independence, Mo.; two stepdaugthers, Timara Beckand Deanna Rowland, both of Nevada; nine grandchildren; his mother Marjorie Gordon, of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Howard Gordon, of Garden City, Kan., Kenny Gordon, North Kansas City, Mo., and Tim Gordon, of Kansas City, Kan.; one sister, Karen Houston, of Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father on Sept. 13, 2006.

Following his wishes, no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
