The Council will be considering the first readings of ordinances to hire DSWA, CPA to conduct the city's 2009 annual audit and to contract with Diehl, Banwart & Bolton, PC as an accounting consultant.
The other new items before the Council is a public hearing and the first reading of an ordinance changing the zoning at 420 W. Cherry from R-3, apartment house district, to C-3 commercial district.
The Council also will be holding the second readings of ordinances to amend the city code to appoint a custodian of records for the police and fire department; approve a one-time salary adjust for city employees; authorize the mayor to apply for a federal matching grant for the city's taxi coupon program and to approve an engineering services contract with Allgeier, Martin & Associates.
