Three members, Matt Clemons, Doug Taylor and Robbie Gordon, of Sign Design, a Joplin sign company, reinstall the historic sign on the White Grill as owner Diana Novak looks on. Novak said the sign was taken down and refurbished because some of the lights were not functional. "I couldn't even watch when they were taking it down, I was so nervous," Novak said. No one is entirely sure but it is believed that the sign was part of the original structure when the Grill was built in 1938. --Steve Moyer/Daily Mail

I was wondering where it went. Get a burger almost every time I come to town.
The place looks better than ever, Diana looks pretty good too!
Best hamburgers anywhere.
I doubt that the sign was part of the original building. The building was added on to in the late 1940's and about the same time there was a serious fire. The addition was on the south end of the building and created the second window on the front as I recall. The Grill is a year older than I am so my memory may be faulty although mostly I can't remember what happened last week. It's good to know you can still get a good hamburger in Nevada.
Best dam burgers in the world, almost worth killing someone for!
It is nice to see that someone cares enough to keep up and keep the places looking good and clean. I just wish there were more that did that. It looks good and keep up the good work.
I can remember white grill as a child I have kids that have moved away that still have to eat there when they come home
