Kathy Rae Zoglmann, 54, Nevada, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at St. John's Medical Center, Joplin, Mo., following an illness of several weeks. She was born Jan. 29, 1955 in Nevada, to Francis Edward Kiger and Virginia Mae McKenzie. She was married July 6, 1974 in Nevada, to Leonard Zoglmann and he survives of the home.

Kathy was born and reared in Nevada and spent her entire life here. She worked as a loan processor at First National Bank in Nevada for the past 32 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nevada, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter, Brooke Lyn Gotschall and her husband Brantlee, Nevada; two grandchildren, Tanner Gotschall and Brice Gotschall, both of Nevada; four brothers Jack Kiger and his wife Tammy, Kansas City, Mo., Glen Kiger, Kansas City, Mo., Randy Kiger, Nevada, and Troy Kiger and his wife Katie, Raymore, Mo.; two sisters, Linda McCormick, and Rhonda Farmer and her husband Ronnie, both of Nevada.; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Clarence Harold Peterson, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Justin Hoye officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Nevada.

Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home, and the family received friends at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to a Scholarship Fund for Kathy's grandchildren in care of First National Bank, 100 W. Walnut, Nevada, MO 64772.
