An accident occurred at 5:27 p.m., at U.S. Highway 54 and West, involving an SUV driven by Joseph L. Luther, of Rich Hill, and a pickup driven by Theodore F. Dilly, of Deerfield. Luther was listed with evident but not disabling injuries.

A burglary was reported in the 200 block of North Lynn, made by Jamie Farris, of Nevada. A computer and printer were reported stolen.
