Bomb threat at Pittsburg Wal-Mart a false alarm

On Monday, April 5, 2010, at approximately 11:13 a.m., the Pittsburg Police Department, Pittsburg Fire Department, and Crawford County EMS responded to Wal-Mart, 2710 North Broadway Street, in reference to a reported phoned in bomb threat to Wal-Mart. Upon the officers' arrival, the building had already been evacuated by management. A search of the property was completed without any suspicious devices being located.

The incident remains under investigation by the Pittsburg Police Department. Anyone with information in reference to this incident is asked to call (620) 231-1700. Callers may remain anonymous.
