Rodney Wayne Wright, 45, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010, at his home in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. He was born Aug. 1, 1964, in Nevada, to Lewis Glenn Wright Jr. and Sharon Kay Mulkins Wright.

Rodney attended schools in Sheldon, Metz, and graduated from Nevada High School in 1982. He moved to Baltimore, Md., where he lived for five years cooking and working in convenience stores from 1983 until 1993. In 1994, he moved to Branson and worked at the Pizza Cellar in Rockaway Beach and other restaurants. He then returned home to Nevada in 2004 spending time with family and friends when his illness was discovered and he became disabled.

Survivors include one sister, Glenna Kay Wright, Nevada; one brother, Christopher M. Wright and his wife Mildred Morrison Wright; one niece, Victoria Belle Wright, all of Sheldon, Mo.; one stepbrother, Tim Deeter and his wife Angie, Clever, Mo., and their triplets, Christian, Karson, and Jacob; and also, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Wright, and one uncle, Morris A. Mulkins.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 21, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Steve Russ officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m., on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
