The wedding party departed in a limousine for the dinner and dance reception following the ceremony at Figlio Tower on the Country Club Plaza. An elegant three-tiered wedding cake adorned in the bride's chosen colors was provided by Mona McDaniel, along with the groom's cake in the shape of a "brisket" complete with raspberry sauce, in honor of his barbecue team.
