Bridge on Route F to close June 21 for replacement

Vernon County, Mo. -- On Monday, June 21, the Route F Bridge over Little Drywood Creek, will be closed for replacement.

The bridge should reopen in approximately 45 days.

This bridge is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation's Safe & Sound program, an effort to improve or replace a total of 802 of MoDOT's most worn-out bridges by Dec. 31, 2013. The department says that 554 of those bridges will be replaced.
