Matt Murphy and Tracy Smith, Pittsburg, Kan., won the championship flight of the Knights of Columbus ninth annual two-person scramble tournament. The tournament was held at Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course, in Nevada on June 19.

The winning score of 64 was one stroke better than that of the second place team of Scott Burns and Kendal Overton. The teams of Terry Bradley and Mack Young and Adam Barnett and Shawn Pennington tied for third in the championship flight, both finishing with scores of 66. Bradley and Young took third through a tiebreaker.

The A flight was won by John Barnoskie and Steve Comacho. They and both the second and third place teams shot a 71, but Barnoskie and Comacho took first via the tiebreaker. Mark Quitno and Blake Hertzberg took second while Leonard Zoglmann and Jeff Dreyer took third.

The team of Pedro Claudio and Jeremy Dry took first place in the B flight with a score of 77. Dale Heitz and Randy Bobbett also shot a 77, but took second place by the tiebreaker. Richard Schuster and Vince Caswell beat out Nick Swischer and Corey Swischer for third, but both teams finished with a 78.

The Knights would like to thank all the players, sponsors, workers and the golf course for helping their tournament become a success again this year.
