Current class lists needed for NHS 2010 all-classes reunion

Nevada, Mo. --The 2010 All-Classes Reunion steering committee continues to work in preparation for this year's two-day event; the festivities are planned for Friday, Oct. 15 and Saturday, Oct. 16. All Nevada High School graduates are encouraged to make plans to attend this every-five-year celebration.

With not much time, but much to do, organizers have prioritized the "things to accomplish." According to chairperson Jeff Tweten, the first task is to locate the individuals from each class who have possession of their most current class member lists. Those with such records are asked to call (417) 448-0360 for further instruction.

Committee members hope to receive the existing class information in a digital format, but if all that's available is contact information on paper, please fax the list to (253) 590-2875.

The steering committee is also asking for help in "getting the word out" about the 2010 All-Classes Reunion to family, friends, classmates, neighbors, teachers and administrators. Those in the know are encouraged to spread the word through social networking sites, a friendly phone call or a note to former NHS graduates.

According to Tweten nearly 600 former grads have visited the established Web site to provide their current contact information, at www.hometownreunion.com/nevada (all lower case).

Online, mail, and in-person registration is expected to begin on Aug. 2. For more information about the reunion, call (417) 448-0360.

"Save the dates of October 15 and 16, 2010, for the NHS 2010 All-Classes Reunion and do what you can to make this year's the most successful event to date," Tweten said.
