Save NEVC -- vote NO on Nov. 2

Dear Editor:

My name is Jayce Vantellman, and I am a seventh grader at Northeast Vernon County. I like my school a lot, and I would be very mad if my school got closed and I had to go to another school.

If I had to go to a bigger school, I would not be able to pay attention as much, because there would be too many distractions. In my little school there are not very many distractions. At a bigger school I probably would not be able to pay attention, and I would probably get bad grades.

When I go to school, I look forward to going to basketball or baseball practice, but in a big school I would have to try out, and I am probably not good enough to make the team. Then I wouldn't get to play sports.

If the school does close, then Schell City and Walker would fall apart.

So please vote no on annexation, because I will really miss my school.
