December 27

5:03 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Route BB involving a car driven by Treva J. Jones, Nevada, and a van driven by Larry L. Brown, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

December 28

9:13 p.m.: An accident occurred at Adams Street and U.S. 54 Highway when a pickup driven by John W. Smith, Nevada, struck a pedestrian, Chelsea Hood, Nevada. Hood received evident, not disabling injuries.

December 31

9:37 a.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Business 71 Highway involving a car driven by Angel N. Lukenbill, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Billy W. Jefferies, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

2:45 p.m.: An accident occurred at 201 W. Austin Blvd. involving a van driven by Kendall L. Stroer, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Nicholas A. Burns, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

January 5

11:34 a.m.: An accident occurred at Business 71 Highway and Minnesota Street involving a car driven by Alice G. Monroe, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Richard R. Williams, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

January 6

3:05 p.m.: An accident occurred at Hickory and Spring streets involving a SUV driven by Trevor D. Hunholz, Richards, Mo., and a car driven by Robert L. Barnes, Richards, Mo. No injuries were reported.

3:55 p.m.: An accident occurred at 500 E. Cherry St. involving an unknown vehicle and a SUV owned by Irven D. Gideon, Nevada. Accident is still under investigation.

January 9

Steve Smith, Nevada, reported a second degree forced burglary in the 500 block of South Main Street. Items stolen were clothes.

January 10

1:30 p.m.: An accident occurred at College and Lee streets involving a pickup driven by Chase T. Jeans, Richards, Mo., and a car owned by David Beebe, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

5:10 p.m.: An accident occurred at Business 71 Highway and Lee Street inolving a car driven by Cameron E. Bobbett, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Daniel R. Palmer, Nevada. No injuries were reported.
