Rhett Walker Craig Kelso went to join our heavenly father at the tender age of 7 months, 2 days old on Sunday, March 13, 2011, in St. Petersburg, Fla., where he was born on Aug. 11, 2010.

He is survived by his loving parents, Michael Kelso (Nevada High School class of '90) and Sarah Kelso (Nevada High School class of '91); his brother, Kyler Kelso of Palm Harbor, Fla.; his grandparents, Alan and Joyce Kelso of Kearney, Mo., (Former associate pastor of Nevada First Baptist Church from 1981-1992), Tim and Sonja Wells of Nevada, Mo., Jay and Rae Walker of Camdenton, Mo.; as well as his great-grandmothers, Helen Kelso of Raytown, Mo., and Mary K. Turley of Fort Scott, Kan. He also is survived by aunts and uncles, Craig and Terrah Kelso, Jefferson City, Mo., Trey and Robin (Kelso) Maclin, Chicago, Ill., and Brent and Heather Sheperd, Diamond, Mo.; as well as many cousins, and great aunts and uncles.

A celebration of his life will be held at the family's home in Harbor Club Condominiums in Palm Harbor, Fla., when the sun's light shines its brightest at noon by the pool on Friday, March 18. Those in attendance have been respectfully asked to wear white or bright colors. Those who can not attend we hope will celebrate the life of our sweet angel Rhett by adorning bright colors or white on this day. He was love's purest light to all who knew him.
