The 3M Foundation has donated $500 to the Community Council on the Performing Arts, in recognition of commitment to the community from John Scarborough and Todd Weber.

John Scarborough has donated 48 volunteer hours, and Todd Weber has donated 113 volunteer hours to the Community Council on the Performing Arts and the Fox Playhouse, 110 S. Main, Nevada, in support of the community theater and community choir programs staged by the CCPA. Scarborough is a member of the CCPA Board of Directors; both men are performers in this season's choir and theater productions and volunteer behind the scenes in many capacities.

"3M employees and retirees generously give their time and skills to help others," said Robin Torgerson, vice-president, 3M Community Affairs. "We are pleased to recognize their commitment to their communities."

As part of the 3M Volunteer Match, the 3M foundation will donate $250 to eligible non-profit organizations for which a 3M employee volunteers 20 hours or a 3M retiree volunteers 25 hours or more per calendar year.
