Sox win 6-5 in tourney

The Nevada Red Sox AAA team got 10 hits and beat Carl Junction 6-5 Wednesday in the first round game of the Carl Junction Tournament. Markell White pitched five innings, allowing two earned runs and got the win.

Grant Davis closed out the game picking up the save and also had a game winning walk-off double.

The Red Sox next game will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. against McDonald County and at 7:30 against Republic. On Sunday they play Monett.
