In 1941, she married Raymond DeWayne Daniels of Savonburg, Kan. They lived in Wichita and then moved to Fort Worth, Texas. She worked as a teletype operator for Western Union, Convair Aircraft, and the Rock Island Railroad.
In the early 1970s she began work as a wire operator and back office manager for the Fort Worth branch of A.G. Edwards & Sons stock brokerage. She later became a registered stock broker for the firm.
Survivors include her son, John Scott, Carrollton, Texas; two daughters, Pamela Cranford, Wasilla, Alaska, and Martha Rodgers, Bridgeport, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Her husband of 67 years, Raymond; brothers, Fred and James; and sisters Willie, Isabel and Irene, preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be held this fall with burial in Elsmore Cemetery in Kansas.
