Beulah Fay Easton, 87, St. Charles, Mo., formerly of Nevada, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 19, 2011, at Parkside Retirement Living, St. Charles, Mo. She was born on May 20, 1942, in Moran, Kan., to Walter and Neta Colvin. On Sept. 2, 1950, she married Arlon J. Easton and they lived in the Stockton and Nevada areas.

Beulah graduated from Nevada High school in 1942 and worked for the J.C. Penney Company in Nevada. Beulah was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church of Nevada. She loved her church, music, cooking, and her grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Belinda Joseph and her husband, Shawn, St. Charles, Mo.; grandchildren, Shea, Jennica and Avery Joseph all of St. Charles, Mo. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Lea Easton, and grandchildren, Tyler and Kaitlyn Easton, Parkville, Mo. Beulah was the sixth of nine children and has one living sister, Ramona Loftquist of Overland Park, Kan. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, great- and great-great nieces and nephews. Beulah was preceded by her parents; her husband; and one son, Terry J. Easton in 2007.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 23, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Bill Platt officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. She will be buried next to her beloved husband of 35 years. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 1-2 p.m., Saturday, prior to the funeral service.
