Bronson Smith, son of Brian and Jill Smith, Nevada, won first place at the Southwest MIssouri Junior Golf Association Championship Tournament in the 10-year-old Division at the Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield on Aug. 9. He also received the award for being the Total Point Leader in his division. He played in 14 tournaments throughout the summer, resulting in four first-place finishes; three second-place finishes; one third-place finish. He placed in the top 10 five times. (Submitted photo)
