Timothy Aaron Forst, 24, of Carl Junction, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, due to an accident near Lamar.
Tim was born March 22, 1987, in Lamar, Mo., the sixth of the six children of Leonard and Diana (Andersen) Forst. He graduated from Lamar High School in 2005 and earned certification as a diesel mechanic at Wyoming Tech in Laramie in 2006. Tim was a skillful diesel mechanic and worked for Fleet Pride (formerly Premier) in Joplin. He had been active in Lamar FFA and was a charter member of Spittin' Llamas Club in Carl Junction. Tim was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lamar.
On Aug. 8, 2009, at Carl Junction, Tim married Jessy Ellis, and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his parents, Leonard and Diana Forst, Lamar; Jessy's parents, Jim and Cammy Ellis, Carl Junction; four brothers, David and Kristina Forst, Michael Forst, Bradley and Julie Forst, and Kevin and Lelia "Tumble" Forst, all of Lamar; a sister, Carlynn Forst, Jackson, Mo.; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Megan Ellis, Sapulpa, Okla., and Katy Ellis, Carl Junction; grandparents, Elsie Andersen, Nevada and Bill and Linda Ellis, Reeds, Mo. Tim also leaves treasured nephews and nieces, Emma and Ethan Forst, Kendall and Katelyn Gotcher, Ayden and Rustin Forst, Kayli and Braden Cole, Shelby and Layla Forst; a large extended family; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law and nephew, Kelly (Blackford) and Adam Forst.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lamar with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following a rosary service that will be conducted at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at Daniel Funeral Home.
