Jimmy "Jim" Dean Carr, 65, of Blue Mound, Kan., died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at his home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home Pleasanton, Kan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery at Mound City, Kan.The family suggests contributions to the Jim Carr Grandchildren Trust Fund in care of Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home P.O. Box 525, Pleasanton.
