Courtney Jo Darnold and Brach Anthony Pisciotta were married Saturday, March 12, 2011. The candlelight ceremony took place at 4:30 in the afternoon at the First Baptist Church of Kansas City, Mo. Dr. William C. Cox of Nevada solemnized the vows before an altar enhanced with two 15-branch candelabra decorated with bouquets of green hydrangeas, white fuji mums, ivory roses and dendrobium orchids.

Parents of the bride are David and Donna Darnold of Nevada. Parents of the groom are Rita Pisciotta of Richards and the late Anthony Pisciotta. Marissa Rainey, friend and former roommate of the bride, greeted the guests and served as guest book attendant. Avery and Olivia Hamilton, nieces of the bride were the program attendants. Avery Hamilton along with Morgan Campbell, nephew of the groom, lighted the candles.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a gown of ivory tulle and lace with a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of vendela roses. Jill Hamilton attended her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Garwood, Brooke Crooks, Carin Irwin, Genice Farrell and Tiffany Berberich. The attendants wore navy knee-length dresses in varied designs. Each carried bouquets of green hydrangeas with vendela roses accented with cymbidium orchids and sprigs of white waxflower and dahlias. Flower girls were Olivia and Molly Hamilton, nieces of the bride. They wore identical ivory tulle and poly satin dresses. Ron Farmer served as best man.

The groomsmen were Bucky Cordray, Dave Hutchinson, Jeff Monger, Shamus Tilton and Andrew Warner. Seating the guests were nephews of the bride and groom, Mason Hamilton and Morgan and Cayden Campbell.

A reading chosen by the couple was read by Jessica Baker, college friend of the bride. Soloist Wes Morton of Nevada sang "In This Very Room" accompanied by Rhonda Leonard, pianist. The Cantilena String Quartet of Kansas City provided music for the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Lodge at Ironwoods in Leadwood, Kan., where guests were greeted by David and Celtina Reinert and Greg and Allison King. After a honeymoon on the island of St. Lucia, the couple is at home in Overland Park, Kan.

Courtney graduated from Nevada High School in 1999 and from the University Of Missouri Kansas City School Of Pharmacy in 2006. Brach graduated from Nevada High School in 1998 and from Pittsburg State University in 2006. Brach is an account executive for the Remarketing Department Of Enterprise. Courtney is a pharmacist for United Healthcare group.
