Domestic violence awareness walk Monday in Vernon County

Nevada, Mo. -- In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Vernon County Domestic Violence Task Force will host a Domestic Violence Awareness Ceremony and Walk on Monday, Oct. 3. The ceremony will begin at 12:15 p.m., at the south side of the Vernon County Courthouse. As part of the ceremony, there will be a memorial service for murdered victims of domestic violence.
