Teen hurt in Saturday accident

Seventeen-year-old Tailer L. Manos suffered serious injuries when he fell off the bumper of a vehicle into the roadway along Missouri Highway 43 in Bronaugh.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Manos was riding on the rear bumper of a 1997 Ford Explorer driven by a 16-year-old youth from El Dorado Springs at 9:40 p.m., Saturday. The vehicle hit a bump and Manos flew off, landing in the middle of the highway. Manos was transported via air ambulance to Freeman Hospital, Joplin.
