Billy M. Gash, 75, Moundville, Mo., passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada, following a brief illness. He was born June 10, 1936, in Woodward, Okla., to Oliver Mate Gash and Bertha Marie Hundorf Gash. He was married Oct. 23, 1959, in Miami, Okla., to Minnie Jo Crum and she survives of the home.
Mr. Gash was born and raised in Woodward, Okla., and graduated from high school there. He moved to this area following high school. He served for a time in the National Guard and made his living as a maintenance foreman working for the Missouri State Highway Department. He was a past member of the Masons.
In addition to his wife Minnie, survivors include two sons, Russ Gash, Nevada, Mo., and Randy Gash, Sheldon, Mo.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister Roberta Harris, Milo, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Moore Cemetery, Nevada, with the Rev. Mark Mitchell officiating.
