Each month, September through May, the Nevada Public Library offers a special story time for preschoolers, ages 3-5. During the event, children hear a story and take part in a related activity, sharing a snack as well. Above, children at the Nevada Public Library had a royal time at the latest story hour, "Once Upon A Time." Through stories, they traveled to far away lands. They made edible castles. Beautiful crowns were created for all the royalty and "they lived happily ever after!" quipped Library Director Susan McBeth. At right, Kyndrek and Will (last names not provided) make edible castles The next Story Time is slated for 10 a.m., Feb. 10; and attendees will be "Going on a Bear Hunt." Reservations are required and may be made by calling (417) 448-2720.
