Gardeners to offer information about new plants

New plants are the driving force in horticulture. At a meeting setfor Monday, Feb. 27, at 6:30 p.m. Rita Arnold will provide the scoop on exciting new plant varieties that will be available this spring.

George and Rita Arnold own and operate Arnold's Greenhouse and Garden Center, near LeRoy, Kan.

This meeting, sponsored by the Four Seasons Master Gardeners and University of Missouri Extension, will be held at the Moore-Few Care Center meeting room at 901 S. Adams, Nevada.

Attendees may park in the lot south of Moore-Few Care Center and enter the meeting room from there.

Some of the exciting new perennial cultivars that she will be discussing are: Agastache, Alcea, Buddleia, Centurea, Coreopsis, Delosperm, Dianthus, Echinaceas, Heuchera and Hibiscus.
