Youth wrestler standing out

Saturday, March 17, 2012

Dayton Miller (pictured on top) of Nevada started wrestling at the age of nine and is now 14, and at the end of his youth wrestling career. He has accomplished many wrestling goals that he set in place for himself, as well as maintaining an A average in his school work. He has been coached extensively by Chip Balk, and he owes a great deal of his success to his training. He has also spent many hours throughout the years working with several of the high school wrestlers and his oldest brother, Trey Miller. Dayton is a Rookie State Champion, Brute Adidas All American, Fall Brawl Champion, three-time District Champion, four-time Regional Champion, and three-time State runner up and a two-time member of the Missouri District Dual Team. He was also undefeated in his seventh grade middle school wrestling season. Dayton will be heading to the Missouri State Wrestling tournament next weekend for the last time. He also looks forward to continuing his wrestling career in high school, and hopefully, college.
