Wayne Timothy Linville, 51, resident of Fort Scott, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kan. He was born Oct. 21, 1960, in Fort Scott, the son of James Albert Linville and Doris Lorraine Bolling Linville. He was a graduate of Nevada High School.

Timothy had worked as a mechanic for B&D Motors and later at Tower Metals. He attended the Cherry Grove Baptist Church. His hobbies included classic cars and guns. He loved to watch drag racing.

Survivors include a niece, Jeanette Linville, Purdy, Mo.; nephew, Christopher Linville, Miller, Mo.; aunt, Charlene Sipe and husband, Roger; uncle, Charles Bolling, and aunt by marriage, Leatha Bolling, all of Fort Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Bradley Linville; and infant brother, Timothy Wayne Linville.

The Rev. Ken Van will conduct graveside services at 10:30 a.m., Monday, in the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may meet at the Cheney Witt Chapel prior to leaving for the cemetery at 10:15 a.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O.
