NEVC LifeSmarts team shares impact of program with legislators

March 21 was Financial Literacy Day at the Capitol. Since Northeast Vernon County junior varsity LifeSmarts team won the state championship in February, they were asked to come back to Jefferson City to visit with the legislators about LifeSmarts and how it has impacted their lives. The team is pictured with Senator David Pearce. They also visited with Rep. Jay Swearingen and Rep. Barney Fisher.
