Webb City handles Nevada in boys tennis

NEVADA -- Webb City defeated Nevada 9-0 in high school boys tennis action on Tuesday at the NHS tennis courts.
At number-one singles, Webb City's Adam Miller defeated Nevada's Andrew Arneson 8-1.
Matt Reynolds edged Nevada's Colton Short 9-7 at number-two singles. That was the closest match of the afternoon for the Tigers.
Ethan Reploge defeated Nevada's Chris Sandoval 8-0 at number-three singles and Aron Wells topped Anthony Do 8-0 at number-four.
Tucker Palone handled Luat Vu 8-1 at number-five singles and Logan Sperry beat Skyler Crews 8-0 at number-six.
Webb City also swept the doubles matches. Miller and Reynolds topped Arneson and Short 8-2 at number-one doubles, while Reploge and Palone beat Sandoval and Do 8-0. At number-three doubles, Wells and Sperry defeated Vu and Crews 8-0.
Nevada hosts Clever on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Tigers go to Pittsburg, Kan. on Monday, April 23 at 4 p.m.
