June 9

4:22 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Adams Street involving a pickup driven by Jonathan M. Forester, Richards, Mo., and a car driven by Randy L. Bley, Deerfield, Mo. Bley reported minor injuries. Karen L Bley, a passenger in the Bley vehicle, also reported minor injuries.

11 p.m.: An accident occurred at 200 N. Ash St. involving an SUV driven by Reed B. Hardin, Nevada, and a car owned by Carly Toliver, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a theft in the 100 block of West Grand Street. Item stolen was a gas can with 5 gallons of gas, stolen from the back of a parked vehicle.

There was a report of a theft in the 1400 block of North Ash Street. A gas cap was cut and stolen from a 1991 Ford Taurus.

June 10

There was a report of a burglary in the 500 block of North Osage Boulevard. Nine 1-gallon bottles of muriatic acid and miscellaneous cash was stolen from the business. Entrance was made after kicking in the door.

June 11

There was a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of South Cedar Street. A QVC camcorder, Playstation 2 with controllers, five Playstation 2 games and a package of blank DVD's were stolen from the residence. It is unknown how entry was made.

12:24 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 and Business 71 highways involving a car driven by Kierstin M. Lanham, Nevada, and a car driven by Christina S. Moss, Nevada. Lanham reported minor injuries.

June 12

There was a report of city property damage and trespassing in the 1100 block of South College Street. A chain was cut and the portable toilet was turned over on its side.

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 600 block of North Elm Street. A FM transmitter and a MP3 player were stolen from a 1996 Geo Metro.

There was a report of second degree property damage in the 200 block of South Oak Street. The side of a 2006 KIA van was keyed.

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 500 block of East Ashland Street. A Garmin GPS and miscellaneous change was stolen from a 1997 Chevrolet pickup.

June 13

11:49 a.m.: An accident occurred at Prewitt and Maple streets involving a pickup driven by Kenneth C. Moore, Nevada, and a car owned by Michael Brigman, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of first degree property damage at Walton Lake. The chain on the picnic table was cut and the table was thrown into the lake.

There was a report of first degree property damage at Marmaduke Park. An electrical box next to the pavillion was damaged.

There was a report of burglary in the 400 block of North Elm Street. An 8-inch Craftsman power miter, 10-inch Craftsman power miter, 19-2 Craftsman drill, 150 feet of rolled copper tubing and miscellaneous building materials were stolen from a vacant home.

There was a report of a burglary in the 500 block of North Elm Street. One hundred feet of electric wire, and 50 feet of copper tubing were stolen from the residence that is under construction.

June 14

There was a report of property damage in the 600 block of North Prewitt Street. A window was broken by an unknown individual.
