June 29

There was a report of a theft in the 300 block of South Pine Street. A bed frame with mattress and box springs were reported stolen from the back porch.

There was a report of a petty theft in the 1600 block of North Osage Boulevard. A maroon and silver 26-inch, 6-speed Next bicycle was reported stolen.

There was a report of a petty theft in the 400 block of South Oak Street. A 26-inch white, boy's Mongoose bicycle was reported stolen from the front yard.

9 a.m.: An accident occurred at 301 W. Austin Blvd. involving an SUV driven by Jill L. Barrett, Nevada, and an unknown vehicle. Accident is still under investigation.

11:33 a.m.: An accident occurred at Cherry and Cedar streets involving a pickup driven by Heather M. Humphrey, Deerfield, Mo., and an SUV owned by Gregg H. Poe, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

June 30

There was a report of a theft in the 500 block of East Allison Street. A Samsung cell phone was reported stolen from a table during a yard sale.

1:10 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Subway Boulevard involving a pickup driven by Aaron L. Prather, Nevada, and a car driven by Zachary D. Rolando, Wichita, Kan. No injuries were reported.

1:21 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Subway Boulevard involving a van driven by Jeffrey R. Adams, Nevada, and an SUV driven by David E. Crystal, Pittsburg, Kan. No injuries were reported.

July 1

There was a report of a petty theft at Walton pool. Clothing items were reported stolen after being unattended while swimming at the pool.

There was a report of second-degree property damage at Radio Springs Park. A sink in the restroom was pulled from the wall. Three suspects are being sought by police.
