July 5

There was a report of a theft in the 300 block of North Elizabeth Street. A laptop computer was reported stolen from the residence. Suspects are being sought.

There was a report of a theft in the 200 block of South Elm Street. An undisclosed amount of cash was reported stolen from a residence. A male suspect is being sought.

There was a report of a theft in the 1700 block of Osage Boulevard. A beard and mustache trimmer was reported stolen from a business.

12:06 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route W and Garfield Street involving a car driven by Tracy D. Farrales, Nevada, and a car driven by Jennifer M. Penn, El Dorado Springs, Mo. No injuries were reported.

July 6

4:45 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route W and Cleveland Street involving a pickup driven by Lawrence M. Hertzberg, Nevada, and a car driven by Jonathon W. Butler, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

July 7

There was a report of a burglary in the 400 block of North Adams Street. A .22 caliber rifle with ammunition, BB gun and miscellaneous change was reported stolen. The residence was locked at the time of the theft.

There was a report of a theft in the 1700 block of Surrey Lane. Three case folding knives, one buck knife and miscellaneous cash was stolen from a residence.

July 8

There was a report of a petty theft in the 600 block of North Washington Street. A boy's black 24-inch Next Power X 10-speed mountain bike and a black 20-inch BMX Thruster bike were stolen from a car port.
