Dianna Rose Duncan, 72, Nevada, passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada, following an illness of several weeks. She was born Jan. 2, 1940, in Mt. Carmel, Ill., to Elmer Bybee and Ruby Pearlin Miskel Bybee.

Dianna came to Nevada in 1959 and lived most of the remainder of her life here. She worked at Nevada State Hospital for 9 1/2 years. She helped Ed Woodington with his Pow-Wows for many years. Diana was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. For many years, she volunteered many hours for the community. She loved playing bingo.

Survivors include three sons, Terry Lawson and his wife, Hazel, Knob Noster, Mo., Robert Lawson and John Watts, both of Nevada; one daughter, Tina Groves and her husband, Robert, Nevada; two grandsons, Joshua Lawson and his wife, Ashley, and Jason Litten, all of Nevada; six granddaughters, Renee Brooks and her husband, Kevin, Richards, Mo., Audrey Fleeman and her husband, Tony, Nevada, Leona Bastow and her husband, Rodney, Amarillo, Texas, Miranda Stevenson and her husband, Ashley, Blue Springs, Mo., Sherry Leo, state of Missouri, and Natasha Watts, Lamar, Mo.; 12 great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters; two brothers, Kelly Bybee and his wife, Mary, Huntsville, Texas, and Harley Collier, Lamar, Mo.; and one sister, Connie Moffett and her husband, Pete, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Ralph Collier.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. David Rorabaugh officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 6-7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 3, at the funeral home.
