Submitted Photo The Bronaugh junior high girls' basketball team is off to an impressive start with a 3-0 record. The first match-up was at home against Ballard with a final score of 43-24. Many Lady Cats scored in this game, but most notable was Bonnie Moore with 17 points, including two 3-pointers. The second game was against Hume at Bronaugh, ending in a 44-17 Wildcats win. Again, several players scored in this game, but two players stood out. Taylor Stratford had 22 points and Mandy Murphy had nine points, one of which was a 3-point shot. Bronaugh traveled to NEVC on Thursday, Oct. 4, and claimed the victory with a score of 54-4. Taylor Stratford put up 27 points, Mandy Murphy had eight, Katey Rider, six, and many more girls contributed as well. The Bronaugh junior high boys' team stands undefeated with a 2-0 record.
