Seventh grade girls' basketball sweeps McDonald County

The Nevada Middle School seventh grade girls' basketball A and B teams returned home Thursday night to take on McDonald County Middle School and came out of the night with a sweep.

In the A game, Nevada put on a dominant performance on its way to a 27-14 victory. The B game wasn't nearly as one-sided as Nevada was forced to come from behind, taking the lead in the final minute of the contest and holding on to take the victory by the final score of 19-16.

Nevada's eighth-grade squads were in action on the night as well, but those scores were not available at press time.

Next on the schedule for Nevada is tonight, when they take on El Dorado Springs Middle School at 5:30 p.m.
