The Nevada Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team hosted its annual end of season awards banquet on Nov. 14.
Directly following the dinner provided by the parents of the players, Lady Tigers head coach Ashley Thoreson and assistants Megan Fischer and Ranea Schulze handed out season awards to seven players. Among the awards given were Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year and the Leadership Award.
Morgan McNeley was honored for finishing the season with the most assists, while the award for most digs went to Sharla Quick, most blocks was Rilie Good, Regan Kannady had the most kills and Brooklyn Ryan had the most aces.
After those awards were presented, Thoreson handed out the three biggest awards of the night. Bree Reppert was named as the Lady Tigers' Defensive Player of the Year, while Regan Kannady was named Offensive Player of the Year and the Leadership Award went to Brooke Munsterman.
The Lady Tigers finished the 2012 season with an overall record of 19-9-3 and were eliminated by Carl Junction in the semifinals of the Class 3, District 12 tournament at Clinton High School.
