Barry County

* Route Z: ROAD CLOSED between Farm Roads 1120 and 1130 east of Monett. Installing drain pipes. Work hours: 8 a.m to 6 p.m.

* Route 39 Table Rock Lake Bridge Deck Replacement at Shell Knob: (Completion: May 2013)

One-lane traffic on bridge with temporary signals alternating traffic one lane at a time.

Narrowed driving lanes across bridge.

Barton County

* Route 43: One-lane traffic north of Nashville. Repairing shoulders.

Bates County

* Route Y: One-lane traffic north of Amoret. Pavement repairs.

Benton County

* Route P: One-lane traffic near Ionia. Building shoulders.

Cedar County

* No traffic impacts

Christian County

* Route 176: One-lane traffic between Route 160 and the Christian/Taney county line near Spokane. Repairing roadway edges.

* Route 125: One-lane traffic south of Chadwick. Repairing roadway edges.

* Route M: One-lane traffic west of Nixa. Repairing roadway edges.

Dade County

* Route M: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks south of Everton. Striping.

* Route N: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks west of Lockwood. Striping.

Dallas County

* Route 65: One-lane traffic north of Louisburg. Repairing eroded areas.

* Route 32: One-lane traffic east of Buffalo. Shoulder work.

Greene County

* Route Z: ROAD CLOSED between Greene County Route BB and the Greene/Polk county line east of Walnut Grove. Installing drain pipes. Work hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

* Kansas Expressway (Route 13): Northbound passing lane closed between Chestnut Expressway (Loop 44) and Division Street. Pavement repairs.

* Kearney Street (Route 744): NIGHT WORK - One eastbound lane closed at Route 65. Repairing guardrail. Work begins after 7:30 p.m.

* Route BB: One-lane traffic near Walnut Grove. Cutting brush.

* Route 13: One southbound and/or one northbound lane closed 'round the clock in areas between Route 83 in Bolivar and Greene County Route WW north of Springfield. Pavement repairs. Sunday through Saturday

* Chestnut Expressway/Route 65 Diverging Diamond Interchange in Springfield: (Completion: December 2012)

NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN: Chestnut Expressway in new Diverging Diamond traffic pattern.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: Eastgate Avenue drivers can no longer cross Chestnut Expressway.

Lane closings possible at times. Work hours: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

* Kansas Expressway (Route 13) at James River Freeway (Route 60) Diverging Diamond Interchange in Springfield: (Completion: September 2013)

Nighttime lane closings at times. Work hours: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

* West Bypass (Route 160) Bridge Replacement at I-44 in Springfield: (Completion: December 2013)

One lane of traffic in each direction on Route 160 at bridge over I-44. Be prepared for flaggers to direct traffic. Work hours: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

TWO-WAY TRAFFIC: One lane open in each direction on West Bypass with traffic shifted to west side of bridge.

No left-turns from northbound West Bypass to westbound I-44.

Northbound right-lane of West Bypass must turn right at Kearney Street. Northbound left-lane of West Bypass will travel thru intersection at Kearney Street.

Henry County

* Route 7: One-lane traffic between Clinton and Tightwad. Repairing shoulders.

Hickory County

* No traffic impacts

Jasper County

* Route 43: One-lane traffic over the railroad in Joplin. Bridge work.

* I-44: One eastbound and/or one westbound lane closed east of Joplin. Mile Markers 13-28. Repairing roadway edges.

* Route NN: ROAD CLOSED between the Dade/Jasper County line and Jasper County Route N north of Avilla. Installing drain pipes. Work hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

* Main Street at Zora Street Interchange Construction in Joplin: (Completion: May 2013)

Lane closings possible at times on Main Street. Speed limit reduced to 35 mph.

ROAD CLOSED: A section of Zora Street at Upland Road closed west of Main Street until as late as May 2013. Detour: Lone Elm Road and Eclipse Street to Upland Road and then to Veteran's Way.

ROAD CLOSED: Zora Street CLOSED east of Main Street until May 2013. Detour: Fountain Road to St. Louis Street to Broadway Street.

Equipment entering and leaving work areas.

Lawrence County

* No traffic impacts

McDonald County

* No traffic impacts

Newton County

* Route 60: One-lane traffic near Neosho. Cutting brush.

* I-44/Range Line Road Diverging Diamond Interchange in Joplin: (Completion: December 2013)

NIGHT WORK: Lane closings on I-44 and on Range Line Road at times. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

TRAFFIC SHIFT: I-44 traffic shifted toward outside shoulders at Range Line Road.

Polk County

* Route 32: One-lane traffic west of Bolivar. Shoulder work.

* Route 13: One southbound and/or one northbound lane closed 'round the clock in areas between Route 83 in Bolivar and Greene County Route WW north of Springfield. Pavement repairs. Sunday through Saturday

St. Clair County

* Route OO: One-lane traffic near Tiffin. Replacing a drain pipe.

* Route B: ROAD CLOSED between St. Clair County Routes YY and E near Monegaw Springs. Installing drain pipes.

Stone County

* No traffic impacts

Taney County

* Route 65 at Rochester Road U-turn Lane Additions near Ridgedale: (Nearing completion)

NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN: New u-turn lanes OPEN to traffic.

Vernon County

* Route 71/Vernon County Route TT Interchange Project North of Nevada: (Completion December 2012)

Route TT OPEN to traffic.

Lane closings on Route 71 at times.

Crews and equipment close to traffic on shoulders on either side of Route 71.

Webster County

* No traffic impacts

I like the new information items the paper has started listing, instead of the filler news storys which have been used for years. Now if the paper can just get the sheriff's office to release the jail population with their report I will be a happy camper.
