Sheldon boys remain undefeated

Saturday, December 15, 2012

Herald-Tribune

JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Panthers of Sheldon High School improved to 6-0 on the season with a strong performance on the road against Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School.

The Panthers weren't able to put up any kind of dazzling offensive numbers on the night, but didn't really need an overwhelming onslaught as Thomas Jefferson couldn't seem to find the basket. By the time all was said and done, the Panthers took the victory by a final score of 40-33.

Reed Worsley led the Panthers with 12 points in the contest while Corey Baney finished the night with 10.
