American Legion Christmas -- 2012

American Legjon adjatant Delvin CHubick, back, watches as Jeff Gicante, left, and Paul Rhodes dish up Christmas dinner trays Tuesday at the Legion Hall. Legion members and volunteers delivered about 25 dinners to shut-ins as well as those who came to the Legion. One man who ate Christmas dinner at the Legion is hitchhiking to Salina, Kan. Chubick said earlier Christmas morning they had about 100 area children pick out two toys from a wide assortment and had an opportunity to visit with Santa. The Legion has been providing Christmas toys to local needy children for over 90 years.
