Bronaugh boys fall in tournament play

Wednesday, January 9, 2013

Nevada Daily Mail

A slow start was mitigated somewhat for the Wildcats of Bronaugh High School, but they weren't able to make up enough ground in the Golden City basketball tournament Tuesday night, falling to Walnut Grove by a final score of 66-59.

A 24-11 first-quarter deficit wound up proving to be more than Bronaugh could overcome. The Wildcats trailed 41-30 at halftime and 53-44 after three periods.

Blake Hudson fired in 21 points to lead Bronaugh. Chance Wait added 14, Patrick Hallam finished with 12, Josh Willis had 11 and Cole Diggins had one.
