Sue W. Hartline, 68, residing in Henderson, Nev., died in the hospital on Jan. 11, 2013, after long health struggles. Sue was born in Monterey, Calif., on Nov. 6, 1944, to William Ivory St. Clair and Gertrude Francis (Cartwright, Bumgardner) Hartline. Sue worked for decades at the Missouri State Hospital where she lived most of her life in Nevada, Mo.

Preceding her in death were siblings, Virda Hartline, Bill Hartline, and Jerry Hartline. Surviving siblings include Jack (and Linda) Hartline and Betty (and Dan) Jackson. From Sue's marriage to Robert Rosales survive Mark (and Deborah) Lara with four grandchildren: Marc, Adam (Roxy and great-granddaughter Aeowyn), Joseph, and Jacob Lara; Diane Orr with two grandchildren: Ethan (Rachelle Allen and great-grandsons, Ethan and Tucker) and Micah Orr; and Bob (and Sonia) Rosales with seven grandchildren: Ricardo (Teryn with great-grandsons Xander, Elliot, and Oliver) Gonzalez, Elizabeth (and Bryan) Hinchey, Ellena Gonzalez (with great-grandchildren Dennis and Nicole Mudd), Sonia Gonzalez, Monique Rosales, Valerie Rosales, and Emily Rosales. From Sue's marriage to David Malcom survive daughters, Betty Whitney with one grandson: Tony Whitney; Michelle (and Tim) MalcomVetter with three grandchildren: Lennon, McCartney, and Jones MalcomVetter; and Sarah Malcom with two grandchildren: Cameron Malcom and Morgan Smith. Sue is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as extended family.

No services will be held in respect for her wishes. Sue was a strong, beautiful woman with an independent spirit. She was always very loving and supportive of her family, and we will always remember Sue in our hearts.
