The City of Nevada is now accepting nominations for the 2012 Nevada Revitalization Award. The Nevada City Council created the Nevada Revitalization Award in 2010 to recognize property owners who have enhanced the community by making significant exterior improvements to their individual properties that have, in turn, had a positive impact on the surrounding area. The Revitalization Award recognizes individual efforts and seeks to encourage future reinvestment in the community.

Residential as well as commercial properties are eligible for the award.

Nomination forms are available on-line at www.nevadamo.org or by e-mail from jlewis@nevadamo.org.

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at 5 p.m.

The award will be presented during the second council meeting in March.
