Pritchett to sign with Crowder

Friday, January 18, 2013

Nevada High School senior Mackenzie Pritchett has decided to continue her softball career as a Crowder College Lady Roughrider.

The leading hitter for the Lady Tigers softball team last fall plans to sign a letter-of-intent to play for Crowder at 2:50 p.m., a week from today, in the Library/Media Center at Nevada High School. Pritchett finished her high school softball career with a .392 average, 121 hits, 103 runs scored and 53 RBIs in 106 games and helped the Lady Tigers win the 2010 Class 3 State Championship under head coach Tammy Holcomb.

She is currently a member of the Nevada Lady Tigers varsity basketball team under head coach Brent Bartlett.

Former Nevada Lady Tiger Jessica Neely earned honors as a freshman at Crowder during the 2011-'12 season and has signed a letter-of-intent to continue her softball career with the University of Central Missouri Jennies, at Warrensburg.
