JV boys win El Dorado Springs tournament

EL DORADO SPRINGS -- The Nevada Tigers JV boys' basketball team took first place in the El Dorado Springs Tournament Saturday.

The Tigers opened Monday with a 60-35 conquest of El Dorado Springs, led by Clay Regers with 18 points.

On Wednesday, Nevada romped past Liberal, 51-25, as Regers again led the point parade, this time with 24.

Then on Saturday, the Tigers took the title in a 51-38 conquest of Clinton. Brandon Barker and Regers scored 12 apiece, Tristan Smith had 11, and Kalen Bradley finished with 10.

The JV boys' record is now 9-5.
