Nevada track and field fares well at Paola Invitational

PAOLA, Kan. -- The Nevada High School track and field team took to the road Friday and brought home a number of strong performances on the girls' side of things at the Paola Invitational.

Three Nevada Lady Tigers brought home medals in the event. Senior Ashley Shumaker was third in the high jump, while McKayla Hoselton was fourth in the discus and Regan Bradley took fourth in the 100-meter dash.

The Nevada Tigers and Lady Tigers freshmen and sophomores are scheduled to be back in action at Joplin today and the entire varsity squad heads to Ray-Pec High School on Friday.
