Randy Kent Prideaux

Randy Kent Prideaux was born Sept. 22, 1957, and died Sunday, April 14, 2013. Randy was born in Pittsburg, Kan., to Jean Bowyer and Gerald Gordon "Bud" Prideaux. He grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1975. Later, Randy moved to Wichita, Kan., where he lived until his untimely death from natural causes. Randy was predeceased by his loving parents and older brother, Barry, also of Nevada.

Randy was an avid music aficionado. His taste ran to classic rock and other eclectic genres. His collection included hundreds, if not thousands of recordings and CD's. He loved to travel and camp out and made many memories doing so with friends. He worked selling appliances and home improvement products like siding and windows.

Randy never married, but was included in family activities of his several cousins. He had many close friends all over the country.

Celebration of life will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 11, at Harvest Chapel Community Church, 1011 W. 55th St. South in Wichita, Kan. Graveside service and burial will be held at 3:30 p.m., at Newton Burial Park, 311 W. Highland Ave., Nevada.

In lieu of flowers, contributions toward final expenses and headstone would be welcomed.
